There are 18 different categories, judged on three different aspects.

  1. The Judge’s Personal Opinion.
  2. Level of Coolness.
  3. Box Office Success.

The 18 different categories are as follows:

Best Apparel, Best Comeback, Best Disguise, Best Running, Best Brilliant Villain, Best Comedic Villain, Best Female Villain, Best Non-Human Villain, Best Protagonist-Turned-Villain, Best Villain Sidekick, Best World Domination Attempt, Most Adorable, Most Evil, Most Glorious, Most Professional, Most Resilient, Most Tragic, and finally, The Just-Because Villain.

There were multitudes of villains to pick from, but Aspect #3 kicked some of them out of the running immediately. Aspect #2 narrowed it down even more, but the real deciding factor was Aspect #1.

With that, let’s begin the Awards Ceremony.

  1. Best Apparel

Eric, Divergent and Insurgent

Upon receiving his award, Eric was so kind as to inform us that if we ever underestimated him he would kill us.

2. Best Comeback

Aldrich Killian, Iron Man 3

When we gave Killian his award he furrowed his brow and asked if we had really just called him a villain.

3. Best Disguise

The Red Skull, Captain America: The First Avenger

Under the identity of Johann Schmidt, the Red Skull was nearly unrecognizable at The Villains Awards.

4. Best Running

Eric, Insurgent

Eric was confused when we approached him a second time, especially after such an ominous warning the first time we came. He refused to accept his award.

5. Best Brilliant Villain

Khan Singh, Star Trek: Into Darkness

Upon receiving his award, Khan said he would wield it well. We’re not sure what he meant.

6. Best Comedic Villain

Justin Hammer, Iron Man 2

Justin Hammer, famous for eating imported ice cream and making drones that blow up.

7. Best Female Villain

The White Witch, The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe

The White Witch looked stunning at The Villains, although she did not wear a lion mane.

8. Best Non-Human Villain

Indominus Rex, Jurassic World

The Indominus Rex did not attend The Villains Awards, but we have heard that upon receiving her award, she promptly ate it.

9. Best Protagonist-Turned-Villain

Harry Osborn, Spider-Man 3

Osborn vowed to keep the award in honor of his father.

This concludes Part One of The Annual Villains Awards. Join us next week for Part Two, when we’ll be discovering who won Best Villain Sidekick, Most Evil Villain, and more.

*Not actually Annual. It just sounds cooler to say it’s an annual ceremony.
